  • About two miles outside of Angkor Archeoligic Park sits the rarely visited Banteay Thom Temple. About a mile off the main road the sandy path, sometimes with large areas of water in the rainy season, takes you through rice fields and brings you to a good sized temple that you can most likely explre on your own without the crowds seen at Angkor Wat or the other well known temples.
